Cheesy Italian Orzo:
- 1/2 tsp Butter Buds Sprinkles - ½ cup orzo pasta - 1 tsp dried basil - ¼ tsp dried oregano - 1/8 tsp garlic powder - 2 Tbs Parmesan/Romano Cheese (6 pizza hut packets) - 250 ml or 1 Cup water - 1/4 crushed red pepper (spicy version only) - 1 Tbs Dehydrated Corn (optional) - 1 Tbs Bacon Bits (optional) Combine all ingredients except cheese and water in a freezer bag. (We use the Food Saver Vacuum system) and pour contents into your pot, or into a Koozie. Mix and then let stand covered for 15 min. Add cheese and eat. If using the bag to cook in, be sure that you make the it large enough to fit well in your Koozie. We make up a number at a time and include a label with nutrition information and the recipe on the back as well as the cheese pack sealed inside. In a pinch, you can always use the label as a dry fire starter. Here are the labels:
